On June 12, 1929 Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany.
In September of 1933, Hitler became the chancellor of Germany, which caused Anne and her family to move to Amsterdam.
On July 5, 1942 Anne's sister Margot receives a letter telling her to go to a forced labor camp. The family goes into hiding right after.
A day after getting the letter, the Franks are already into hiding. They have another family joining them, the Van Pels.
On August 4, 1944 the residents are found in hiding, and are transported to concentration camps. Anne and Margot are together, while Edith and Otto are transported elsewhere. Everyone ends up dying except Otto.
Anne Frank inspires me because even through all of the hard ships in her life and everything she had to go through, she had a positive attitude and found the good in all situations.
