Deborah Sampson was basically a spy and she put of men's clothing and called herself Robert Shirtliffe in order for her to look like she was in the army. She did this because she wanted fight for her company and they ended up defeating the Indians of Ticonderoga.
Margaret Hill Morris was a famous caretaker and she transformed her home into a hospital for the wounded. She did this because she wanted to help the wounded.
Lydia Darragh was a Quaker in Philadelphia and found out that the British soldiers were going to attack Washington's army so she tricked the British soldiers to go into her home believing that she was sleeping but then the next day she pretended to do her work but she really went to the American army and revealed the British strategy. The American army got the chance to stop them.
