  • Rosa Parks was born in a small home with not much money. She was born on February 4 1913, in Tuskegee Alabama.
  • Rosa Parks was in the National Association for Advancement of colored people. Also Rosa Parks briefly attended teaching college.
  • On December 1 1955 Rosa Parks was riding the bus and she was in her seat. But a white person came on the bus and wanted her seat and Rosa didn´t gnat to give her seat up so she got arrested.
  • In 1996 Rosa Parks got the Presidential Medal Of Freedom from President Bill Clinton.
  • In 1987 Rosa Parks founded the Rosa and Raymond Parks institute. For self development to provide career training for young people.
  • Rosa Parks influenced others by the Civil Rights Movement. People call her "Mother Of the Civil Rights Movement."
