Life was all good in Beirut until, the civil wars began. It was frightening and Ayesha and her family had to escape.
"We have to escape quick hurry up"
They had been running for their lives, but then noticed Ayesha's mother wasn't behind them. She had been killed and they were devastated.
"Don't worry keep on running"
"Granny where is mother, where did she go".
A few days have passed and they were left with nothing, sitting on a doorstep of a worn out house Ayesha's Grandma had been very tired. Latif had been looking around then found a lady and her daughter in a flat waving to them. Ahmed called out to his Grandma and they were relived.
"Come quick get inside hurry"
They had been very happy to now that they would be safe for a while at least. But good to know they had somewhere to stay and sleep.
"You could live in this room"
" Thank you so much"
During the next couple of days Ayesha had made a new friend named Samar who unfortunatly was deaf so Samar taught Ayesha how to use sign language to help them communicate with eachother
When they settled in Granny had been feeling sick because she had ran out of medicine. The medicine she had gotten from Dr. Leila on the other side of the Green-line.
