Before fifth grade, i never realized how easy i had it. My book reports and projects were very managble and never caused me much stress.
I had a pretty full schedule with girl scouts, soccer, Destination Imagination, and my normal school work.
I was pretty confortable with my situation until one day in the middle of my fifth grade year.
My teacher, Ms. Ward, explained we would be having a project on the book we just read. She said we would need to write a 500 word essay and make a decorative poster about the book to go along with it.
Once we were finished, we would also need to give a presentation to the class. As of fifth grade, this was the biggest project i had ever gotten. I became extremely stressed trying to squeeze time in to complete it and all my other responsibilities.
Over the next few days, Ms. Ward saw how stressed we were all becoming and gave us advice on how to handle it.
