After the monster ran away he was nowhere to be found. Victor continues to live his life and receives a letter from his father. This letter is informing him that William had been murdered. He quickly returns home.
As he is travelling home he enjoys all the nature that he has to travel through. On one of the last nights, there was a big storm. A huge strike of lightning lit up the sky and when this happened there was the monster standing by a tree. He quickly disappeared.
Justine was accused to be the murder of William. But Elizabeth and Victor knew that she was not guilty but saying something wouldn’t do anything. They had to just be there for her before she was killed.
