  • Winnie the Pooh
  • Cartoons that are animals?
  • You are so right, he's a bear but does not act like a real bear.
  • Okay we need to work together to find an example of a realistic and unrealistic animals .
  • I think a good example to start off with is Winnie the Pooh.
  • I found this picture of how a real bear looks like, how are they different?
  • Because Winnie the Pooh is Yellow?
  • But how are they different from one another I don't understand.
  • Oh, so they are different because one is fake and the other is real.
  • What does this mean?
  • Real and Imaginary.
  • Real is something that happens in real life and something imaginary is fake. 
  • Ohhh I get it now.
  • Back Home: Teacher assigned her students to do an Animal Encounter Log.
  • Today I read a book with my mom about a mouse that ate cookies so that is an imaginary character.
  • I saw a real bird on a tree in my backyard today. I will write that down in our Animal Encounter Log.
  • At school the next day: The children are being tested on their knowledge knowing the difference between an real and imaginary animal.
