The reactants are glucose (sugar) and air
Then the products are rotten air, water, and ATP (energy)
Glycolysis is one of the cycles, and in that cycle glucose (sugar) is broken down into 2 smaller molecules called pyruvate. Then, energy is created.
The Krebs Cycle is the second of three cycles. In this cycle, pyruvate travels to the mitochondria which is the powerhouse of the cell. And then more energy is created
The third and final cycle is the electron transport chain, in this cycle a large amount of chemical energy is let go from the mitochondria. And then energy is created for the third time
The overall purpose of cellular respiration is to create ENERGY!!!
