You are here for the crime of saying that solar power is not the most efficient for our country.
While, in fact, research proves that it is indeed best.
Gasoline releases over 400 million pounds of CO2 a year, coal releases over 600 million, and coal releases over 900 million, while solar energy releases 0 pounds.
Solar energy does not release carbon dioxide or any air pollutants that all of our main energy sources do.
According to the US Energy Information Administration, the amount of energy from the sun that shines down on the earth in an hour is more than enough to provide for the world in a year.
The sun has been proven to be more than enough to power the entire world.
Not only are deserts and fields an option, but solar panels can also go on the roofs of houses and cars.
Also, there is plenty of space to put the solar panels.
Even if solar panels took in only a few hours of sunlight every day, it would still help. Most of the panels could also be placed in the sunniest place, most/all of which are deserts. These places get near constant sunlight.
But the sun does not shine constantly, so PV materials can’t always take in sunlight and therefore energy.
The sun is our most abundant source, and as it doesn’t hurt the environment, it is the best source of energy.
