The two main characters, Lou and the narrator, are on there way to school and find this supposedly "painter lady" painting on there wall and they aren't to happy about it. They start plotting against her and try to figure out a way so that she won't paint on their wall.
Gets in an Argument With Mama
The two main characters are on there way back from school. They find The painter lady again and the wall is perfectly white. But she has these strings and chalk and she starts to add color.
The Morris twins offer the painter some dinner but she does not except it she just goes right back to working on the wall.
Mama and the painter lady are fighting because the painter keeps asking to many questions about the food. Mama is getting frustrated because she wont accept the food the way that it is.
The narrator and Lou are planning to sabotage the painting and paint over it but then they come across the final project and see that it is really cool. It even has Jimmy Lyons name in the painting.
I think the theme of this story is to always be open to something new. Don't just not like an idea just because you don't know what it is or don't know how it will turn out.
