"Sweetheart come back to bed". Lighting is dull and almost non-existent except for the moonlight shining out the window. The camera shot is further away to fit both characters.
"It is cold down here at night" The lighting is still dull and moonlight shines through the window. Camera shot is far away to show the Whites talking.
"It is cold for our son where he lays" A close up of Mrs. Whites face, her face is brightened by a candle so you can see her facial expression. The camera is close up so it can emphasize Mrs. Whites frustration.
"Go and wish for our son to be alive again!" The lightening goes back to a darker, dull tone but there is a shadow where the door is now open. The camera is placed further away so you can follow Mr. White as he goes and retrieves the Monkeys Paw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Df4hZDCrA4&vl=en [Music at 1:24]
Mr. White finally finds the Monkeys Paw on the table. He goes to pick it up hesitantly. The lightening is an orange tone because of the firelight. The camera is focused more on Mr. White as he sets the Paw down.
"I wish my son to be alive again!" The light of the fire shines through the monkeys fingers making it seem as though the paw is glowing. The camera is close up on the Monkeys Paw and Mr.White so you are focused on him. [Music starts playing again but at the time 1:53] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Df4hZDCrA4&vl=en
