In the Reformation movement Martin Luther pinned a list of 95 complaints to a church in Wittenberg. These were known as the 95 Theses.
Also, in the Reformation movement reformers had a problem with a certain practice in the Church called Indulgences. These were certificates that freed people from their sins.
