This shows character v.s self because Montag is thinking about quitting his job and he doesn't know whats right whats wrong and its confusing him.
Beatty is teasing Montag and telling jim to shoot him. Montag is very angry because Beatty is messing with him. This shows ch v.s ch because they are arguing in the book.
The police and the firemen are looking for Montag. They have helicopters looking for him and are looking themselves. Montag is running away from them because he doesn't want to go to jail or get killed for having books in his house.
