  • France is Broke
  • Let them eat cake!
  • Meeting of Special Assembly
  • Meeting Does not go as planned
  • France is broke because of low taxes, food prices being high and pay was low and reckless spending by royalty.
  •  King Louis does not side with assembly
  • King Louis calls for meeting of special assembly to help with money problems.
  • The National assembly takes control of France
  • Meeting does not go as planned and third estate leaves the meeting and form the national assembly of France and make oath of the tennis court promising to make a new constitution for France.
  • King Louis is killed
  • King Louis does not side with the assembly and sends 18,000 soldiers to Versailles. People demand for weapons from soldiers and they say no. Later soldiers and people get into fight and start storming of Versailles.
  • The national assembly takes control of France. And create declaration of the right of man.
  • With all the chaos king Louis tries to leave France but is caught and guillotined.
