I call my System "Linnaean taxonomy".
Sir Linneaeus, can you please explain how you classified the organisms??
I classify it by kingdoms: Regnum Animale (animals), Regnum Vegetabile (plants) and Regnum Lapideu (inorganic objects).
After it is divided by kingdom, it will be divided again by classes. In the Animal Kingdom, they are divided by Mammals, Birds, Amphibians, insects, fish and invertebrates.
Plants on the other hand, are divided by their reproductory parts. Stamen for male while pistils are for female.
Inorganic materials will be classified by rocks, minerals, fossils and minerals with nutritional value.
However, the classification by plants and inorganic objects are no longer used today.
To read more about this, I am one of the writers of a book called: "Systema Naturae".
Please do remember that just because I'm the father of Taxonomy doesn't mean that I invented it. credits to Aristotle and Plato XD
