Storyboard Text

  • Space can be an absolute or relative location. Right now I'm at the beach which is an absolute location. It doesn't change. My house however would be a relative location, which is a place measured by how far away it is to your original location. Which for me would be the beach!
  • Place is an area that has been given a significant meaning by someone of importance. A place can range between different sizes and statures and textures. For example my bedroom could by a place. My garden could be a place. Anywhere on earth could be a place. It just needs to have some significant meaning to you, your loved ones, or to someone you've never met.
  • Environments can be manmade or natural. For example the environment here is manmade. Builders built this environment. But a natural environment would be a waterfall or a rainforest of some sort. Environments are what make up the world.
  • Change refers to non-living and living things on earth. The earth is constantly changing. It may not be now or tomorrow, but it will change whether that is rapidly or slowly. little changes are happening everywhere.
  • Interconnection is the term we use to say that the world is all connected. Nothing on earth is in isolation. For example the water cycle is a cycle of interconnected water, all going through something different to form the water cycle.
  • Scale is the different levels of which events can be observed, and scale doesn't need to be on a big level, it can also be small scale, like a map. Scale can be a small town or suburb and even a giant city.   • Sustainability is the need to balance out the environment and keep it in check. For example, the sustainability of water is something that humans are working towards and trying to achieve. Sustainability is pretty much, a way to keep the environment balanced.
