This is Adam. He's excited because he gets to go on a long trip around the world, visiting many different countries.
Stop Two: Ethiopia
Adam begins his trip in North Korea. He soon learns that North Korea has a command economy. He was forced to eat the same thing everyday.
It feels like I've gone back into the past!
While Adam had been excited about seeing the cool businesses in this country, he was disappointed. The government had control over everything, and Adam quickly got bored.
Stop Three: China
China is awesome!
Adam continued the trip in Ethiopia. It was a bit of a shock to him. He didn't use his phone or computer at all there, as no one else even had them. The people were also more old-fashioned and worked harder than he expected.
It was clear to Adam that Ethiopia was a traditional economy. Citizens kept things the way they had always been.
Adam headed out of Ethiopia to his next destination: China. Adam really enjoyed China. With their mixed economy, the government and the citizens shared economic power.
