Storyboard Text

  • Can you help me with my thermodynamics defintions.
  • I will help you with your thermodynamics definitions.
  • the energy you started with should still all be there at the end
  • the first law of thermodynamics is the energy of a system and its surroundings remain constant.
  • that seems easy enough to remember.
  • this one seems a little bit more difficult.
  • when you add heat to an ice cube it turns to water
  • the second law of thermodynamics is that mechanical energy can be derived from the body but only it is in a lower temperature,
  • you can never reach absolute zero
  • the third law of thermodynamics is hat as the entropy of the object reaches zero as the temperature reaches absolute zero.
  • so this one builds off of what the second one was saying.
  • this one seems the most difficult but I think I got it down.
  • if a =b and b = c then a must = c
  • the zeroth law of thermodynamics is if two of the bodies are in equilibrium then the third body is in equilibrium.
  • No but thanks you really saved me there.
  • that is the basics of all of the laws if there anything else you need help with then let me know.
