I am in the South and I need slaves to care for my crops! And since I have so many, they should be able to count.
I have rows and rows of crops and my family survives off the money I make selling crops. With every row I have at least 10 slaves.
I have slaves to take care of my animals and since I have so many, why shouldn't they count for representation?
I am from the North and don't have any slaves so counting them for representation would make our state have less.
I am from North. My family owns no slaves. If we counted them, my family wouldn't get as much representation and the Southern states.
I am from the North and slaves not to be counted.
I am from the South and want slaves to be counted.
How about for every state, we count the slaves but we only take 3/5 of that number?
