Storyboard Text

  • "We need to spread our scent around this area to claim it as our territory"
  • Animals will rub their scent onto trees in order to claim the area as their own.
  • Animals often do a handstand against a tree so that their scent reaches higher up the tree. This is so that other animals view them as dominant and are therefore scared of them.
  • Other animals are scared of the potential predator so will stay away from the area and so the lion will have access to all of the resources without having to share, thus increasing its chance of survivl and therefore reproduction.
  • Better not go any further, this is a dominant animals territory.
