  • Ordinary World
  • Meeting the Mentor
  • Yer a wizard Harry!
  • Crossing the Threshold
  • Brooms and Wands
  • Harry is living with the Dursleys, having been left there as a baby. Harry lives under a cupboard and is an outcast in his own home. He can do many strange things but doesn't understand why. The walls are gray because it is signifying the dismality of the situation.
  • Tests, Allies, and Enemies
  • Hagrid finds them in the abandoned shack where the Dursleys were hiding Harry from the letters. He explains some of his past and tells him what actually happened to his parents and gives him a birthday cake. He also tells him he's a wizard and that he's going to Hogwarts. Hagrid wears brown to show his down to earth nature.
  • Ordeal, Death and Rebirth
  • Hagrid takes Harry to Diagon Alley to get supplies for going to Hogwarts. This was Harry's first step into the wizard world. This was a fun and easy going place that just eased Harry into his new life.
  • The Road Back
  • Harry meets Ron and Hermione on the Hogwarts Express, becoming friends pretty quickly. These are Harry's allies and support for the rest of his life.
  • Harry Potter tries to race Voldemort (aka Professor Quirrell) to the sorcerer's stone. When he gets there he has to find something within himself when he looks into the Mirror of Erised to know that that's truly what he wanted. When he confronts them, through the love from his mother, he destroys Quirrell and Voldemort in the moment, and is rendered unconscious himself. The mirror is the color yellow to represent hope.
  • Harry Potter's journey back occurs while he is unconscious, so we can assume it was uneventful. At his awakening, Dumbledore comes and speaks to him, explaining some things about his past and what exactly was going on. Dumbledore is wearing red to show is love for Harry. The gold shows authority and power.
