  • The British Officer, Major John Pitcairn was the British leader in the Lexington and Concord war.  “The fighting at the Lexington and Concord is considered the first battle of the American Revolution.” And by the end of the battle many of people were left dead, and some even missing.The Lexington and Concord battle is important because this was the start of the American Revolution.

  • Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold where the American leaders.The British took high ground but, taking high ground doesn't always ensure victory. At Bunker Hill, the Americans held their ground until they ran out of ammunition. The British won but they paid the price of losing over 1,000 British soldiers were killed or wounded, compared to over 400 Americans.The Bunker Hill battle is important because, the American soldiers showed that they could hold their own against better-trained , better- equipped, and far charger British force because they British lost over 1,000 and the Americans had over 400.

  • The American leader of the New Jersey was George Washington.The British leader of the New jersey was William Howe. After this American victory, called Battle of Trenton, British general William Howe withdrew most of his army back to New York. In the words of one British officer, the Americans had “Become a formidable  enemy.”The Trenton New Jersey battle was important to the history of war because, the Americans won. Not only did they win but they were described as a “formidable enemy.”

  • The American leader of the Battle Of Kings Mountain was General George Washington.The British leader of Battle of Kings Mountain was Lord Cornwallis.The impact of this victory was staggering. In time, people in many countries around the world would draw inspiration from America’s example and fight for their own freedom. They showed people that if they could do it so could you. The Americans showed what they could do when they won.The Battle of Kings Mountain is important to our history because, it showed people that if they wanted to stand up for something they believed in, then they could.

  • The Key person of Hardships and Challenges was George Washington. One of the contributions was Lafayette.Despite Clark’s victory at Viennese, American settlers found themselves constantly battling Iroquois  forces. The fighting cause homelessness.This is important because, we learned what it was. What happened after this war how it cause so much people pain. Pain of being homeless and starving or going weeks without food.
