Eustace Scholar is a young boy from southern England. He attends St Richards Catholic College and is being bullied by other pupils. Eustace was caught defending himself against the bullies. This resulted in Mr Doherty having to have a word with him.
Mr Bligh sees Eustace in the corridor later that day; he asks if he is okay. He knows about how much trouble Eustace has at home... his homosexual foster parents are breaking up, and he's being bullied. Poor Eustace.
Meanwhile, at home, Eustace's foster parents: Albus and Luther, are going through a tough break up. They are all Eustace has to claim as his family.
Among all this, Eustace finds a new friend. His name is Marting; he was Chinese and more kind than anyone you'll ever meet. They grew a very strong relationship and went on to become best friends forever.
Disaster strikes... in a terrible accident, the new best friend of Eustace is hit by a car. This is the twist of the story. Eustace is obviously very upset about this and will stop at nothing to make sure his friend is okay.
Cliffhanger ending. After Marting has been rushed to hospital, and various tests have been done, the results have come in. The last line of the episode will be: "Mr Scholar, we have Mr Marting's results..."
