Nicholas and Alison begin to have an affair, while Absolon fails to pursuit Alison for himself.
To be together with Alison, Nicholas manipulates John to think that Noah's flood is coming. He is manipulated into climbing in a tub hanging from the roof to await the disaster. John then leaves Alison and Nicholas alone together as he fell asleep in the tub. Absolon that evening thought Alison was alone and tried to steal a kiss from her. Instead, he was presented with her lower bottom.
The young beautiful Alison is married to an old carpenter named John. She is persuaded by two young men named Absolon and Nicholas to whom try to catch her attention.
Absolon returns for revenge and asks for another kiss. When Nicholas presents Absolon with his lower bottom, Absolon burns his buttocks with a hot poker. John is awaken by Nicholas' scream and thinks the flood has begun. John then cuts the ropes holding the tub from the rafters.
John tumbles from the roof and causes the townspeople to arrive at the scene.
The townspeople are entertained by John's injury of a broken arm. Alison and Nicholas take advantage of the opportunity and convince the people that John is crazy. The people believe Alison and Nicholas, because they see John crying about Noah's flood and the scene of the tub and rafters. At the end, John is injured, Nicholas was burned and Absolon kissed Alison's lower bottom.
