This is Susan Green. She is a single, 22 year old college student who is tired and desperately looking for a place to nap on campus. Susan has limited time for work since she's busy with her studies, but manages to get in 16 hours per week. Susan works a part-time minimum wage job and makes $12,000 a year.
Susan is lacking energy and feeling fatigued all the time during class
Susan needs to walk around campus for a long time just to find a place to take a nap.
If she does find a place to nap, it's often uncomfortable or noisy.
As a college student, I've often found it difficult to find a decent place to take a power nap. Finding a place to rest can be a daunting task. If I'm lucky enough to have a good nap, I would feel more relaxed, be in a better mood, and be able to concentrate better. Instead of getting more tired and wasting time by walking around looking for a place to snooze, I thought it would be an interesting idea to create an app that locates all known napping areas on campus. I can imagine such an app to to increase the number of alert and attentive students, and decrease the number of cranky and fatigued ones.
NapNav will provide Susan with a campus map that shows all the known napping spots so she can get her well deserved nap. Studies show that napping will help Susan concentrate and focus better during class.
