  • SHHH!!!
  • Pretend there is a book in her hand... xD
  • One day a girl named Ava noticed her dog , Charlie, was acting strange and not being as active. She wanted to figure out the problem so she asked around the neighborhood to see if anyone knew why Charlie was not being active.
  • Yes! He is perfectly fine!
  • So is Charlie okay?
  • She kept asking around but no one cared. So she decided to go to the library and find a book with the answers!
  • Come here Charlie!
  • Ruff!
  • She found something in a book about dogs acting weird and made to guesses on what is wrong with Charlie. Her first guess was he was sick. Her second guess was he had a cut or or splinter on him.
  • Good Boy!
  • Ruff Ruff!
  • First she went to the doctor to see if Charlie was sick. The doctors said Charlie was perfectly healthy. She then looked for any splinters on his face, back, stomach, and feet. She found a big splinter in his front left foot and pulled it out with tweezers.
  • Ava got reliable data from the books at the library and learned something new about dogs! She saw that after she pulled out the splinter Charlie was recovering quickly and is getting more and more active.
  • Ava had a fun time figuring out what was wrong with Charlie and she is glad her experiment worked! Charlie has been recovering quickly and is taking walks everyday!
