Once upon a time, in a land far away, a poor miller decides to visit the king. The miller lives four blocks north and 2 blocks east of the castle. He wonders how many possible ways he can take to travel directly there.
The miller figures that using the concept of pascals triangle he could figure it out! Using it he is able to find that there is 15 possible paths he can travel to the castle.
hmmm, which room to put her in first.....
When the Miller finally reaches the castle. In hopes to bring him and his daughter out of poverty he tells the king that his daughter can spin straw into gold. The king is in shock and decides to test the millers daughter.
The next day the King is deciding which room to lock the millers daughter in. There are 3 different rooms with straw. He wonders how many different orders he can lock her up in.
The king figures that he can represent the different orders of the 3 rooms as 3! . That's 6 different orders
