  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Conflict
  • You are nothing!
  • and we don't care about you!
  • When Stewart was born, his mom was single and generally struggling in life . She was addicted to drugs and was not able to take care of Stewart. The only option for Stewart was to be put up for adoption.
  • Climax
  • Stewart was adopted when he was 5 years old. His new parents, Jessalyn and David, were extremely excited to take care of Stewart. For a while, Stewart enjoyed his new home and had little to no trouble with his parents. He felt safe and wanted for once.
  • Falling Action
  • WHERE IS EVERYBODY???
  • As Stewart turned 14, things began to change. His parents grew angry and seemed a little off. His parents were constantly angry for reasons unknown to Stewart, in which they would take out their anger on him. They would hit him, verbally abuse him, and make him feel anxious and scared almost all the time. On top of his troubles at home, people would bully him at school as well for seeming "weird" and "terrifying".
  • Resolution
  • Stewart is beginning to question what his purpose is in life. He does not understand why he has been put through so much, and begins to think he is worthless. Stewart can barely take it anymore, and decides to run away. He wants to get away and also wants to see if it has an effect on anything around him.
  • Nobody will even care when I'm gone.
  • Stewart does not last for long when he runs away. He does not know where to go, and decides to go home. When he arrives home, his parents are gone. He has no idea why they left or where they are. He begins to believe that they have left him and that they never cared in the first place. This makes him even more upset and anxious.
  • Stewart realizes he has to do something with his anger. For all these years, he has been hiding it in. He goes outsides and makes a fire pit. He then gathers his parents' possessions and throws them in a pit. He then watches everything burn with the satisfaction that he has gotten his revenge for the way he was mistreated for all of his life.
