  • The Yalta Conference was the second wartime meeting held between these three leaders.
  • Joseph Stalin
  • Franklin D. Roosevelt
  • It was decided upon to demand Germany's unconditional surrender and create the United Nations.
  • The United Nations was formed to promote international peace and had 50 countries originally join. This organization is still active to this day and has 193 countries.
  • The Nuremberg Trials were held in order to bring people like Nazi Party Officials and Military Officers to Justice. The verdict sentenced many people to either death or imprisonment.
  • I sentence 12 Nazi Officials to death and 7 to imprisonment
  • Adolf Hitler commit suicide in an underground bunker by consuming a cyanide capsule and shooting himself with a pistol. He did this before he could be brought to trial.
  • The economy in the United States strived after the war, since women who filled in for men's jobs continued to work.
  • This is my first time working in a factory
