  • OH NO the Power Converters!!!! This is Luke Skywalker's ordinary world the desert planet of Tatooine. He lives on a moisture farm with his uncle and aunt living an uneventful life but yearning for something greater
  • Crossing the Threshold
  • Luke's call to adventure comes in the form of an astromec name R2-D2. R2 displays a message from Princess Leia Organa saying, "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope," Luke doesn't realize it yet but his life has finally found the adventure he yearned for.
  • Tests, Allies, Enemies
  • Initially, Luke refuses the call. R2-D2 runs off, he wants to retrieve the droid because he is afraid of getting in trouble. Even after finding Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke refuses to join the rebellion because he has work to do. Then Luke returns home to discover his Uncle and Aunt murdered and their farm a smoldering ruin.
  • Reward
  • Luke leaves home and heads to the Mos Eisley spaceport. The spaceport is a new experience for Luke. He stops and stares at all distractions in the Cantina and doesn't know how to defend himself when pig-nosed alien picks a fight. Obi-Wan's guidance and Luke's commitment to the journey see him through this troubling test
  • Luke hires some smugglers to join his cause, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Luke and company prepare to leave Tatooine, stormtroopers charge trying to stop them. With the help of his new allies, Luke succeeds in escaping the planet with the newfound droids and his smugglers and mentor.
  • Luke emerges from his ordeal literally as a man. His reward is the ability to join the rebel fleet as a pilot, just like he wished back on Tatooine.  Luke finally belongs to a cause that brings him meaning greater than himself. He found his adventure and became a man stronger than ever fulfilling his destiny.
