Chamberlain has no idea what to do.
There is nothing I can do! The invasion has happened and I don't have support from other countries. My hands are tied!
This could have all been avoided! What are we going to do now! They are growing too strong!
On September 1, 1939, Germany invades Poland.

France and I are declaring war on Germany! Enough is enough!
We have no idea what we are up against. I fear the worst is yet to come.
James is right. Hitler's army and tactics are too strong.
Their military is huge and their war tactic, "blitzkrieg," which comprised of rapid and powerful focused attacks, are too much for the oppositions.
They conquer almost all of Europe in less then 10 months.
It looks like no country can stop them. In May 1940, they are on our doorstep.
We, Great Britain, are Europe's last hope.

James is able to get his family out of England before Germany invades.
Hitler is going to invade soon! You need to leave as soon as possible!
Months after Chamberlain resigns in May 1940, he dies of cancer.
I am resigning from Prime Minister. I am sorry for the damage I have done.
My name is Winston Churchill, and I have been elected as your next Prime Minister. We will get through this together!
Am I still going to have a job???
