Well lets travel back in time and I can show you.
1440, during the Renaissance, in the house of Johannes Gutenburg.
This is the printing press. It can make lots and lots of books very quickly. It used to take years just to make one book.
My machine allows people to spread knowledge and literacy to others who might never of had it.
This meant that people didn't have to learn from a scholar and could educate themselves. Ideas spread extremely quickly and it helped influence many political and cultural ideas.
My machine changed the course of history.

Scientists could gain information from their peers across the world. Religious leaders could share their beliefs with others as well.
During the Renaissance there were lots of important invention and ideas that shaped the world as we know it today. Like the parachute, Lutheranism, the violin, Individualism, scuba diving gear, Humanism and the thermoscope.
The Renaissance really did impact to whole world not just then, but now as well!
