Casualties of Harfleur

On then 17th of August the armies of Henry V continue their siege of the French port, Harfleur. Men travelling there to reinforce the diseased, weak and already battered troops discuss their feelings.
Battle of Harfleur, 1415, 17th of August.
"Why'd you enlist, John?"
"I wanted to do my bit for King and Country, of course...!"
"I'm here to make my ma proud!"
"You boys aren't going to last, thinking you're heros already."
Young troops were often disheartened by hardened veterans, on their march to reinforce the siege.
