Storyboard Text

  • I know about the Messiah...
  • To be born again?
  • “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?”
  • “Will you give me a drink?”
  • “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
  • And where can I get it?
  • Although Nicodemus had been teaching and studying theology his hole life, he was confused by what Jesus was telling him. On the other hand, the woman at the well completely understood what Jesus told her.
  • If you knew who I am, you would have asked for living water.
  • “ Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.”
  • Are you are prophet? I know about the Messiah!
  • Nicodemus and the samaritan woman had very different reputations. Nicodemus had a great reputation, since he was a pharisee and taught the Israelites about theology. On the other hand, the samaritan had the worts reputation, since she had been dumped by 4 husbands.
  • I know about your 4 husbands. This last one isn't your husband either.
  • “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
  • When Jesus arrived to Samaria, his disciples left him alone so they could buy food. He sat near the well and asked a samaritan woman for water. The samaritan was surprised that a Jew had asked for water since they had a harsh background history.
  • He knew everything about my life!
  • Jesus told the samaritan that if she knew him, she would have asked for living water. She asked where she could get that living water. Jesus explained that Living water won't leave you thirsty like regular water will. The samaritan asked Jesus for the living water so she didn't have to come again to the well.
  • After Jesus told the samaritan about the living water, He asked her to go and tell her husband, knowing she didn't have one and about the other 4 she had. Jesus explained to her where the people will praise when the Messiah came. The samaritan recognized Jesus had to be a prophet or something similar, so she asked him if He knew the Messiah.
  • After Jesus and the samaritan finished talking, she went and told everyone about Him, and they all believed her because of her testimony.
