  • Patty The Leprechaun has not showered in a week! 
  • Patty The Leprechaun is seeing Doctor Seuss, a body lice specialist.
  • Irish these lice would go away
  • Body lice, also known as Pediculus humanus, is a parasite that only impacts humans. 
  • their life cycle consists of 3 stages: egg, nymph, and adult. 
  • The symptoms include intense itching, small areas of blood, and raw skin that can lead to secondary infection.
  • The skin irritation is the immune system reacting to body lice. 
  • The best way to treat it is taking a hot shower and washing your clothes excessively.
  • it's all clover now!
  • Patty is now showering, which is what could have prevented lice in the first place.
  • The moral of the story is... Good hygiene is important!
  • Patty does not gain any immunity after having body lice.
