Here Haemon explains to his father that he is loyal to him and Creon rants about how unimportant Antigone should be to Haemon and how Haemon's best interests are in sight for Creon.
Creon threatens that he is going to kill Antigone and Haemon will never get to marry her. Haemon now tells his father that if he kills his love, Antigone, he will kill himself.
Creon declares that he will lock Antigone away in a vault of stone where she will have no food and will die their instead of her dying directly from his hands.
