  • An object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by an external force. 
  • This represents the first law because the soccer ball didn't move until the soccer player kicked it.
  • Things that have greater mass will take more force to move.
  • This is an example of the second law of motion because this truck is very heavy so, it takes two people to move
  • There is an opposite and equal force to every action.
  • The fisher pushed off the boat to jump into the water to get his fishing rod which moved the boat. So, the action is jumping off the boat and the reaction is the boat moving backwards.
