Storyboard Text

  • Frame 1: View of the beach (night and storm)
  • Frame 2: Ralph mentions the rain
  • Going to be a storm, and you'll have rain like when we first dropped here. Who's clever now? Where are your shelters? What are we going to do about that.
  • Frame 3: One of the hunters becomes annoyed by the rain
  • Extreme Long Shot zooming into​ the beach/camera angle is above the boys and then level. The rain is heavy and the sun has just set. It is dark because of the rain but not pitch black. (The camera moves to look at Ralph and Piggy).
  • Frame 4: Jack becomes annoyed by Ralph
  • Medium Long Shot looking at Ralph while he is speaking. He tells the hunters that they should have been smarter and built a shelter. Despite the problem he is happy.
  • Frame 5: The lighting
  • Close Up Shot focused on the hunter and the rain falling on his shoulder. He is wearing ripped clothing and dirty clothing.
  • Frame 6: Jack leaps onto the beach
  • Do our dance! Come on! Dance!
  • A long shot of the hunter and Jack. Jack becomes irritated by the fact the Ralph was right. He slowly becomes more angry and decides to do something about it.
  • Extreme Long Shot of the lighting. A flash of light covers the whole sky and the screen is white for a moment. A second later a loud explosion of sound crackles amoung the boys. The tension builds up.
  • Long shot of Jack leaping onto​ the beach. He has a very determined face and he walks with a very strong attitude.
