  • The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olauduh Equiano, or Gustavas Vasas, the African. Lilli Hanson Mr. Haws CP English 5 6 October 2017
  • "I fell motionless on the deck and fainted." (Equiano 2) After being kidnapped, young Equiano faints on the deck of the ship.
  • "I fell motionless on the deck and fainted" (Equiano 2) Equiano is kidnapped from his home by a group of men and taken onto a ship.
  • Equiano doesn't accept food from strange men- will be flogged as punishment.
  • "I saw flying fishes... they used to frequently fly across the ship." (Equiano 8). Equiano would watch the waters while on deck and see things such as flying fish.
  • Equiano is taken to an auction where he can see the visible eagerness of the buyers.
