Storyboard Text

  • A healthy relationship is all based around mutual respect between you and your partner.
  • Hey Mom, what do you think a healthy relationship consists of?
  • Me and my mom had a whole conversation about dating yesterday and I think I'm ready to ask out Lucy.
  • If you think you're ready go for it, dude!
  • Heck yeah! I thought you would never ask lol
  • Hey would you like to go out with me?
  • Sweet! Ttyl :)
  • Lucy
  • 6 Months later...
  • Me and Lucy aren't working out. She has supported me emotionally, encouraged me to be a better person, and has allowed me to be friends with people she doesn't like, but she gets jealous all the time, humiliates me, and pulls my hair when she is mad.
  • The first three things sound great and healthy, but the last three things you mentioned are unhealthy and you should definitely end things, that kind of behavior is abusive.
  • I think I'm going to end things between us. How can I approach her safely?
  • You can always meet her in a public setting, have family members or friends near by, and if all else fails you can get a restraining order.
  • Jackie and Kelso's relationship is both healthy and unhealthy. It's healthy because they spend time with their friends together and do things they both enjoy together. On the other hand their relationship is unhealthy because Kelso cheats on Jackie, and Jackie is constantly putting him down in social situations.
