Storyboard Text

  • excuse me miss how does a computer encode text?
  • well that is a good question let me try and explain.
  • encoding is when you change one piece of from one form to a different one.
  • that sounds confusing
  • a computer encodes text by changing it into binary by using an assigned ASCII number
  • for example lets convert the word hope into binary. characters: H O P E ASCII values: 104 111 112 101. it is quite easy if you practice how to do this.
  • that makes sense to me!
  • lets keep figuring out how to do this together!
  • that sounds good to me!
