Storyboard Text

  • When you read a book, you develop feelings for it. Sometimes notes can be aggressive or wild violently scribbled down the page. I would love to show these readers some logic.
  • Some times these notes are dismissive and scornful. I try to imagine what the person must looks like when writing these offhand comments.
  • Inexperienced readers have a hard time making these deeper connections, writing "irony" and "metaphor" every other paragraph.
  • Students like this can be unexceptional and ordinary by making comments with little connection.
  • Being able to make a deep connection with the book, you can make a meaning for own and apply it to you.
  • Some readers just touch the surface of deep connections by placing encouraging words, like "YES" or "absolutely" or punctuation!!!!
  • And if you have never read "man VS. nature maybe it's time to take a step forward.
  • We still read scripts from hundreds of years ago. When you put things on paper, it has a lasting impact.
  • The marks that you make on a page can last beyond you, creating this lasting impact.
  • I found one book like this, that has made a lasting impact on me, which I can't get out of my head.
  • This book intensified my world by a few words, written by a girl- someone who I will never meet; "Pardon the egg salad stains, but I'm in love."
  • Through this comment, I made a deep connection.
