Storyboard Text

  • Mr. and Mrs. White visit their son’s grave. It’s dark, and they are sad and crying. Sad and gentle music plays.
  • Mrs. White stands up to talk to her husband that is upset. The music is still sad, but it is now also slightly suspenseful.
  • Mrs. White gets the idea to use the last wishes that the monkey’s paw has to bring her son back. Mr. White doesn’t think it’s a good idea at all and disagrees. The music starts to sound more suspenseful, like that’s a really bad idea.
  • Mrs. White explains the plan, and Mr. White closes his eyes. He still believes that it is a bad idea. The music stops showing suspense and it gets very sad.
  • Mr. White continues to explain why it’s a bad idea and Mrs. White considers his explanation even though she wants her son back. The very sad music continues to play.
  • Mr. White falls to the ground crying because he knows that they can’t get their son back. Mrs. White also does after she realizes her husband is right and their son will not come back. The sad music gets very loud and drowns out their crying.
