Storyboard Text

  • Prince Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were parading the streets of Sarajevo on June 18, 1914.
  • Suddenly, a man threw a bomb at the couple but missed, only succeeding in injuring a policeman.
  • Panicked, the couple tried to flee back to safety.
  • But the driver took a wrong turn and they went by a cafe where one of the men who was planning the assassination was sitting.
  • Seeing the heirs alive, the man took out a gun and shot them.
  • They both died, and the man was arrested. He was already sick, and died in prison.
