The Assassination of Prince Ferdinand
This storyboard does not have a description.
Prince Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were parading the streets of Sarajevo on June 18, 1914.
Suddenly, a man threw a bomb at the couple but missed, only succeeding in injuring a policeman.
Panicked, the couple tried to flee back to safety.
But the driver took a wrong turn and they went by a cafe where one of the men who was planning the assassination was sitting.
Seeing the heirs alive, the man took out a gun and shot them.
They both died, and the man was arrested. He was already sick, and died in prison.
