Hey, so we'll dump out the bucket in the shed, and we might be late for school.
You... are... HURTING MY HEAD!!
Yeah, we'll be great. All we have to do is find and follow the rabbit- proof fence.
Are you SURE that this is a good idea?
She is crazy.
Could you guys walk a little faster please? We are in a hurry!
Seriously guys? Stop crying Daisy, we'll find a place to cross! And get up Gracie!
Three sisters: Molly, Gracie and Susie are taken to a place in order to better integrate white kids into Australian society. Right now they are preparing for school.
Awwww!!! There's nowhere to cross!! We're gonna die out here!!
After getting her sisters and herself away from the group, the oldest- Molly- announces to her sisters are going to run away.
Molly! Do you see that? We can cross on the tree! We're getting out of here!
They slip into the woods and begin walking in the direction that Molly says. The girls trust that their leader knows where she's going, but they are struggling to keep up.
Rabbit- proof fence... here we come!
The sisters arrive at the flooded river, and their spirits break as they watch the water rush by. Well, Daisy and Gracie's spirits break, but although Molly acknowledges to herself that the river is too cold and strong to swim through, she does not give up hope.
Oh come on! We're NOT going to die, Daisy! But... we are gonna have to either go back or get CAUGHT!
Eventually, after one attempt to walk across, until finding out the spot was too deep, the girls arrive at an area where a tree has fallen down, creating a natural bridge to use to cross the river.
Molly, Gracie and Daisy safely cross and continue on their journey to find the rabbit- proof fence.
