  • Analysis
  • Macbeth goes to visit the weird sisters to go see his new prophecy. They begin a rituals that would shown him his future. Ross later comes to comfort Lady MacDuff and reassure her about her husband. A messenger later comes and tells her to to leave because her and her son are in great danger. She didn't and later her and her son are killed by the murders. MacDuff tries to convince Malcolm to fight against Macbeth and isn't convinced at fist but later changes his mind. They are ready for battle.
  • In the beginning of the act the doctor comes into Lady Macbeth's room to come and observe her because she had been sleep walking. She has been feeling guilty about what she has done and washes her had while she sleeps. He then realizes and tell Macbeth and the maid that he can't cure her and that she needed to go see a priest to have her sins forgiven. The messenger later comes into the room and tell him that the trees are getting closer. Then Macbeth becomes worried. Then he's killed and Malcolm is king.
  • I think that one of his biggest downfalls was his ambition, the evilness that consumed him, confidence and his need for power. He would do anything to make sure that his prophecy came true no matter how bad the deed was. He would kill anyone that threaten his way to the thrown and didn't shown a remorse. He didn't help his people in the kingdom and didn't even morn the death of his wife Lady Macbeth. He didn't even tried to flee when Malcolm and Macduff came to attack him becacause he was relying on the prophecy.
