In the beginning hercules killed his family and offered to be a slave with the most difficult tasks as a punishment.
The First Labor was to kill the Nemean Lion. Hercules had to wait until night because the lion had been out hunting. when he used weapons to shoot the lion they would bounce off. So he fought free handed, strangled him, and took the lion back to the king
The Second Labor that was given to Hercules was to defeat the Lernaean hydra who was a ten headed snake. Every time he cut off one head two would grow in its place. after some time a huge crab came to help the snake and young Iolaus helped his uncle, Hercules.
The third Labor was to hunt down the Arcadian Deer. It Took Hercules a year of hunting to catch her. ON the way back he had the alive deer strapped to his back when hercules ran into Artemis who claimed the deer as hers. He had no choice but to hand the deer over. in the end he obeyed Lord Eurystheus and made peace with Artemis even though she is not easily appeased.
The forth labor for Hercules was to take on the Erymanthian Boar who was a menace to the whole country. On his way to find the boar he ran into creatures with men heads and horse bodies. one was friendly and held a dinner for him and Hercules. When the others found out they challenged him with a fight. Even though they poured a soup like subsistence over his eyes and on the flour so he was blinded and the floor was slippery He continued the fight wiping out most and scaring the rest away. When he finally found the wild boar he chased it down ERYMANTHIan Boar died of pure exhaustion. Then he threw it across his back and took it into the hall were the King was waiting.
