  • The Conquest of Mexico lasted from 1519 to 1521.  The Spaniards were more technologically advanced, disease was in their favor, and the Aztec's enemies were on their side, which gave them and advantage to defeat.

  • Among the 20 women given to Cortes, was a woman named Malinche. Some believe she helped the Spanish conquer Mexico more easily.
