  • Uniformity- Every person in the society looks the same, has similar lives. People must conform to strict policies / page 8, chapter 1In this pic, the director is informing to the kids how the process of making babies happens. It shows how they are all the same because they are identical twins and there is 96 of them, there's no uniqueness.
  • Segregation/Unequal Power 
  • No Free Will-Individujals are not allowed to exercise their free will. They are under constant surveillance and ar eounished for independent thoughts and actions/ pg.22 ch.2This shows how society is controlling the way babies grow up to think. They won't be able to like anything pleasant. They have no free will to read books and absorb knowledge.
  • Perfect Exterior Hides Evil Secret
  • "Listen I beg you, lend me your ears. Throw it all away that horrible poison"
  • The society, director and controller controls the people by giving them soma so they don't think too much. If any of them break any rules they will be sent to an island. Here Bernard is being told he's gonna be sent away to Iceland, an island for disobeying orders by talking about his thoughts and doing unnatural things, like looking at the moon.
  • Unexpected Hero
  • This picture shows the 5 different rankings that exist in the society. They are seperated in order to keep stability. This shows segregation because no one has equal power and rihts, they all have a job and requirements that they need to fulfill and can't be changed or broken. They also have different colors.
  • Segregation-the majority of the population live in a dehumanized state. People are segregated into groups with different roles and unequal access to power./ ch.2 pg.27
  • PEHES- the society seems to be well intentioned society till an evil truth is revealedThe society might seem perfect and all because thye live in comformity mesning they always have a roof, they have clean clothes, food and have stability and peace but it hides evil. 
  •  The government has social conditioned all of them to think it's perfectly fine to live the way they do when it's not because they jut share each other, they aren't living because they don't learn, or have knowledge or know any better. This picture shows a monster lurking through the streets that people are oblivious too.
  • Unexpected Hero- the unlikely hero discovers the evil truth beneath the reality and decides to rebel againt it. Has their own conscience. / chapter 15, pg.211This scene shows John, "the savage" being the unexpected hero.He rebelled against the society he was in. He makes a riot in front of everyone to try to keep them from taking soma because he knows it is wrong to take them and that is just a way of supressing individuals.
