Systems of Equations: Step 1: Assign letters to each chemical compound on both sides of the equation. Step 2: Write the element as equal to how many of it is in each section with the letter of the compound next to the number. Step 3. Assign one letter to be equal to 1 and use that letter to find what the other letters equal. Step 4: Write the number the letter above each compound is equal to as a coefficient.
A + B = C H2 + O2 -> H2O H= 2A =2C A=2 O=2B =C B=1 C=2
When this method is put into place, this is what it should look like.
2H2 + O2 -> 2H2O
Wow Mom! That's really cool! Is there anymore amazing things that you can teach me?
